Meet Ward
Ward believes public service begins with listening, doing the work, and solving problems. After a career in engineering and information technology, he is running for the New Hampshire House because Hampton deserves practical, thoughtful leadership focused on the issues that matter most to local families.
Raised in a hardworking family, Ward learned the value of responsibility from his mother, a hairdresser, and his father, a refrigerator repair technician. As one of the first in his family to attend college, he earned an engineering degree and built a career that led from manufacturing to overseeing IT operations for a global corporation. Along the way, he learned how to solve complex problems, build consensus, and deliver results.
Now Ward wants to bring that same disciplined approach to serving Hampton. He believes every decision should answer one question: How does this improve life for the people of our community?
Ward's top priority is easing the burden of high property taxes. He believes the state must stop shifting costs onto local communities and meet its financial responsibilities so homeowners are not left paying the bill.
He is equally committed to strong public schools. New Hampshire should adequately fund public education so residents can enjoy excellent schools without ever-rising property taxes.
Through his service on Hampton's Planning Board and Master Plan Implementation Committee, Ward has seen the importance of thoughtful growth. He supports investing in roads, water, and infrastructure while preserving the character that makes New Hampshire and the Seacoast a special place to live.
Ward also believes New Hampshire needs practical housing solutions that help young families, working adults, and seniors remain in the communities they love while protecting our unique character. The responsibility of building more housing should be borne by all municipalities, not only willing towns like Hampton.
Ward is running to be a State Representative who prepares carefully, listens respectfully, works collaboratively, and delivers results. He is committed to earning your trust and being a strong, thoughtful voice for Hampton in Concord.
